Description

The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining key governance oversight and delivery standards for reconciliations including break analysis, exception reporting and escalating outstanding items, creating reconciliations, investigations and reporting to meet business requirements, overseeing reconciliation of Hedge Fund reconciliations, Statement uploads and reporting, running and developing key metric reporting to monitor and mitigate risk and overseeing payment investigation sampling/quality assurance, acting as subject matter expert and providing support for new or ongoing projects, provide expert knowledge on Cash and Stock reconciliation and use of MIS, liaise with business lines to ensure timely clearance of outstanding clearance and escalation of investigations, ownership of potential loss events and near misses, including root cause analysis of event and suggested remediation; oversee development of performance metrics and appropriate communication channels.

Requirements are strong leadership and people management skill; experience in effectively managing stakeholder expectations; critical thinking ability and a calmness in pressurized situations; practical experience with banking processes, investment (Securities) products; comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of reconciliations systems and deliverables; knowledge of Intellisuite, Crystal reports, RIBS/Milvus/OLS/SWIFT and setting SLAs advantageous.
