Description

The Funds Senior Administrator will be responsible for ensuring smooth-running of team and assisting with identifying and resolving day operational issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory and AML/CFT requirements.  He/she will administer a diverse range of funds and liaise with clients; co-ordinate all company secretarial matters, including attendance and preparation of minutes for board meetings; ensure accurate records are maintained; co-ordinate opening of new bank accounts; ensure regulatory and statutory filings made; manage the accounts distribution and filing process; act as a mentor to more junior staff; perform CDD; ease of filing and retention of client information; comply with all Group policies and procedures; report suspicious transactions to the MLRO or equivalent duly designated person.

Candidate will have JFSC Category B, Table 4/5 qualification/equivalent; 3-5 years’ relevant experience in the finance industry working in fund  administration; intermediate MS Office skills; team player; knowledge of Jersey statutory laws and AML laws; knowledge of alternative investment fund environment, including private equity, venture capital and real estate funds; experience in execution of trades and/or corporate actions and of managing a small/part of a large client relationship would be desirable; excellent people management skills; strong organisational/prioritisation skills including established delegation skills; ability to work using own initiative and make decisions.
