Description
Great role opportunity act key point of contact for Risk & Compliance, supporting internal and external stakeholders, overseeing Compliance Program and managing Jersey-based team member, with potential for future direct reports; quarterly board reporting with MLRO; data-driven analysis of controls, policies, incidents, and training; own and maintain Business Risk Assessment and Risk Register; support company services business, providing advisory support on client and compliance risk; managing suspicious activity reporting; support high-risk client reviews; deliver AML, financial services, data protection; monitoring compliance plans, periodic reviews, training, daily AML screening escalations, regulatory reporting, and policy oversight; analysing changes in law and regulation and drafting gap analysis papers for boards.
Candidate will have experience in compliance/risk/operational control in regulated corporate or fund services; experience presenting at board level, delivering training, and working in other Jersey licensed businesses advantageous; in-depth understanding of anti-financial crime and conduct/prudential regulations across law firms, fiduciary, and/or fund services; knowledge of multiple jurisdictions (Guernsey, UK, BVI, Cayman) beneficial; experience in MLCO/MLRO/deputy roles preferred, and in managing and developing team members; skilled with using data to inform reporting; strong MS, communication, organisation and prioritisation skills; proactive team player able to work independently, lead projects and multi-task.
